What day Water day; Earth Day; Fire day; Wind day; and Space day?

The Universe consists of five Great Elements: Water, Earth, Fire, Wind, and Space. The World celebrates

Global Day for Great Elements

Existing Date & the Logics

Proposed Date & the Astro Logics

World Water Day

March 22nd. By this date, officially the Winter season ends and the Spring season starts in many countries in the northern hemisphere. The frozen streams, tributaries, rivers, lakes, distributories, channels, and sea start melting  and water starts flowing by this date.

As per the Indian Vedic Astrology, the ‘Pisces’ month falls between March 15th to April 13th. The planet Venus is at its peak and most powerful during this month. Venus is meant for Rain,Water bodies, Love, and Wealth. Perfect time to Spring up. So March 22nd is the right date.

World Earth Day

April 22nd. People especially the environmentalists, green thinkers, and eco-activists promote this day to clean up all garbage left on the earth. Generally after Winter and early spring, all the snow heaps and patches would have melted by this time and what is left out is the garbage. This is the right time the citizens to come up to clean those left out garbage last year  so that a beautiful summer can be welcomed.

As per the Indian Vedic Astrology, the ‘Aries’ month falls between April 14th to May 14th. The sun is at its peak and most powerful at this month. Sun, as a planet, is the one which is most energizing anything in universe comparing to other planets. That’s why the horoscope starts with Aries not other zodiac signs. Similarly, the earth is the most powerful elements comparing to other great elements. So observing Earth Day in this Aries month is the right thing ie, April 22nd is most suitable date.

World Fire Day

This day is not widely celebrated. In Canada & USA the Fire Prevention Week is celebrated in the week in which October 9th falls. For more info

According to Indian Vedic Astrology the October 9th falls on the month Virgo which is meant for the planet ‘Mercury’ not 'Mars' the fire planet. So this date is not the right date to observe the fire prevention but would be suitable for Afforestation.  However the astro month Scorpio that falls between November 15th to December 15th is meant for the planet ‘Mars’ which is at its peak and most powerful during this month. Many Fire & Bloody accidents would occur closer to this period. That’s why Remembrance Day like sacrifice appreciation day is observed on Nov 11th.  In order to worship the Great Element Fire, Most South Indians light lamps in their homes observing ‘Karthigai Festival’ during 3rd or 4th week of November to protect the humans from fire. So a suitable day for observing this World Fire Day should be November 22nd

World Wind Day

Europe celebrates June 15th as the World Wind Energy Day recognized by Global Wind Energy Council. Mid June is the time the replacement of fossil fuel power with Wind power was high in Europe especially Britain. Wind day is the only day decided based on business perspectives.

In Indian Vedic Astrology the period between May 15th and June 15th falls on ‘Taurus’ month which is meant for the planet Venus but the ‘Moon’ is peak and powerful at this period.  ‘Ox / Bullock’ is the zodiac symbol for Taurus that is what symbolically used in Stock Exchanges. A date May 22nd that falls on this Taurus month would be more suitable to celebrate World Wind Day rather than Jun 15th.

World Space Day

Currently it is celebrated between October 4th to 10th. The choice of dates was based on recognition of two important dates in space history: the launch of the first human-made Earth satellite, Sputnik 1, on October 4, 1957; and the signing of the Outer Space Treaty on October 10, 1967.[2]

Many computerised works are necessary for space administration. As per Indian Vedic Astrology the period between September 15 to October 15 is meant for Virgo Month when the planet Mercury is peak and powerful. NASA’s MAVEN  reached and got inserted into Mars on September 22nd. And India’s MOM was orbited on Sep 24th. This is the first satellite positioned in Mars on its first attempt itself in human history. So September 22nd would be suitable for celebrating World Space Day.

Why do we need to choose the date 22nd for celebrating great elements day. 22nd is a number meant for achieving some thing that looks impossible. 2 + 2 = 4. The number 4 numerologically represents the work of Dragon, The 'Raaghu' in terms of Indian Vedic Astrology. Also for earth and water days, we have already widely & successfully celebrating on the date 22nd .
